Encrypted Conversations
Messaging is built around encrypted conversations. HoodApp does not claim that any communication system can provide absolute security.

Temporary Message Architecture
Every message has a maximum lifetime of five minutes. Short retention is intended to reduce unnecessary message persistence.

Local Protection
Temporary conversation content may exist locally on the device while valid and is protected by the app's local storage architecture.

Account Deletion
Users can delete their HoodApp account. The deletion flow is designed to remove server account data and local cryptographic state.

Minimal Permissions
The current app does not require access to camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts, calendar, speech or health data.
