HoodApp is a privacy-first messaging app built around temporary, encrypted conversations and minimal data exposure.
Do I need an email address?
No. An email address is not required to create a HoodApp ID.
Do I need to provide my real name?
No. HoodApp does not require your real name.
How long do messages remain available?
Every message has a maximum lifetime of five minutes.
Does HoodApp access my camera or microphone?
The current app does not require camera or microphone access.
Does HoodApp access my contacts?
The current app does not require access to your contacts.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. HoodApp includes an in-app account deletion flow.
What happens if I stop using HoodApp?
Inactive accounts are designed to be automatically removed after five days of inactivity.
Can I block another user?
Yes. You can block another HoodApp ID.
Does HoodApp use advertising trackers?
This website is being built without behavioral advertising trackers, analytics pixels or ad-network scripts.
